In March I’ve been photographing a whole day long in a big cake factory near by Darmstadt. After getting familiar with the fine perfumes awaking the memories of grandma’s delicious cakes me and my assistant found a wide range of situations in different sections of the company. All images are of the working process with real people working there. There wasn’t a great chance to stage something, because we have to take care of the production workflow. It was a great challenge to get the images we want to. The design and concept of the brochure for the Berufsgenossenschaft Nahrungsmittel und Gastgewerbe was made by Christian Lutsch concepts Karlsruhe.
