Photographing in a foundry was a special challenge to me. It was hot and a lot of dust and dirt. This wasn’t a problem to me but to my camera equipment, that needed a special care afterwards. The location was near by the furnace, where I had to portrait an employee for a company’s customer magazine. Getting an impression of the conditions there, I have an enormous respect for the people working there everyday.
